Brewster played one season at Ohio State, appearing in 32 games, starting three. He averaged 3.1 points and 1.4 rebounds per game during the 1988-89 season from his guard position.
Brewster was a second team Parade All-American out of Wehrle High School, the same school that produced the likes of Jerry Francis and Lawrence Funderburke.
Ohio State did not immediately respond to Eleven Warriors' request for comment or to confirm the passing of Brewster.
