DJ Carton hasn't stopped scoring his entire high school career.
Carton, Ohio State's four-star point guard commit, set Bettendorf High School's career scoring Friday night, surpassing Cole Clearman with 1,083 points. He cracked 1,000 career points with a 49-point game on Jan. 26.
Along with win tonight DJ Carton became the all time leading scorer in Bettendorf basketball history. He has 1083 points surpassing Cole Clearman who held the previous record of 1072 points. Congrats DJ! #bettpride

Carton is part of Ohio State's top-10 overall recruiting class, which includes four-star forwards E.J. Liddell and Alonzo Gaffney. The group is also the top-ranked class in the Big Ten.
The Buckeyes have struggles to get to the free-throw line this season, and Carton possesses an explosive style of play that should translate to more successful drives to the basket than the team's guards have managed this season.
Look out below! @DJCarton reminding people why not to jump with him under the basket...Sheeshhh!!

Carton and CJ Walker will join Luther Muhammad and Duane Washington Jr. to make up an intriguing backcourt in the 2019-20 season.
