Ohio State needed Thursday night's game against Illinois, Andre Wesson told the media after the Buckeyes' 63-56 loss at home. Being on the bubble and the team beginning to find some footing in the Big Ten, a loss could have ramifications on the Buckeyes' tournament hopes.
Chris Holtmann said a loss is a loss, and he plans to address how his team can improve moving forward, rather than focus on how the los affects its tournament hopes.
