The Buckeyes will be without starting forward Kyle Young for Friday's game against Wisconsin after he had his appendix removed this week.
Young played in Sunday's loss to West Virginia, finishing with two points and 11 rebounds, but was reportedly throwing up before and after the game. He then had his appendix removed the night after the game.
"He's recovering well. In these kind of things, it's always next man up," Chris Holtmann said in his Thursday press conference. "I say that also recognizing the value Kyle brings to the team, which is significant."
Young is Ohio State's second-leading rebounder, averaging 6.8 per game, and is the team's fourth-leading scorer, averaging 8.3 points per game.
