Ohio State made light work of Minnesota. In the first half.
In the second round of the Big Ten tournament, the Buckeyes got revenge for their blowout defeat at the hands of the Gophers earlier this season.
That 79-75 win on Thursday came despite fifth-seeded Ohio State surviving a late rally in which 13th-seeded Minnesota cut a double-digit deficit to one point with less than 10 seconds remaining. But the Buckeyes survived, advancing past the Gophers to face fourth-seeded Purdue in Friday's quarterfinal.
