Six men's basketball players were among them. Justin Ahrens (hospitality management), Jansen Davidson (finance), Harrison Hookfin (biology), Musa Jallow (applied clinical & preclinical research), Justice Sueing (psychology) and Kyle Young (kinesiology) earned the honors. A year ago, Young, Jallow and Hookfin were among the 94 winter academic all-conference honorees, too.
The winter sports broke down like this: Women's swimming and diving (29), men's swimming and diving (18), wrestling (14), women's gymnastics (14), men's hockey (13), men's gymnastics (9), men's basketball (6) and women's basketball (6).
To become a member of the Academic All-Big Ten team, athletes had to be enrolled in Ohio State for at least 12 months while carrying a minimum of a 3.0 grade-point average.
