E.J. Liddell's impressive 2021-22 campaign has garnered him consideration for a national accolade.

The Buckeyes' star forward was named one of 10 finalists for the 2022 Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award Thursday, joining Iowa's Keegan Murray and Indiana's Trayce Jackson-Davis as the only other players from the Big Ten.

Liddell leads the Buckeyes with averages of 19.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.7 blocks this season, and those numbers are good for fourth, 11th and third-best in the conference, respectively.

Alongside the aforementioned three, Paolo Banchero (Duke), Azoulas Tubelis (Arizona), Jabari Smith (Auburn), David Roddy (Colorado State), Chet Holmgren (Gonzaga), Tari Eason (LSU) and Isaiah Mobley (USC) were also named finalists for the award, which is now in its eighth year.
