E.J. Liddell is one of 30 players to make the Naismith Men's College Player of the Year Midseason Team.
The Ohio State forward, who is leading the Buckeyes with averages of 19.7 points and 7.6 rebounds per game as a junior, is one of seven players from the Big Ten to make the list. Joining Liddell are Purdue's Jaden Ivey and Zach Edey, Wisconsin's Johnny Davis, Indiana's Trayce Jackson-Davis, Iowa's Keegan Murray and Illinois' Kofi Cockburn.

Liddell, who was a first-team All-Big Ten selection a season ago, was also named a finalist for the 2022 Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award last week. The Buckeyes' star forward ranks third in the Big Ten in blocks per game (2.5), fourth in scoring and ninth in rebounding this season.
In the past four games alone, Liddell is averaging 20.8 points, 8.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists for the Buckeyes, and shooting 54.4 percent from the field and 43.8 percent from 3-point range.
