When Ohio State entered the locker room at halftime Tuesday, Minnesota led by two points, despite a shooting percentage in the 30s.
That's certainly nothing to write home about on the offensive end, but Chris Holtmann was "really proud" of the Buckeyes' first-half defense Tuesday for keeping OSU in the game at the half before the offense woke up and eventually gave Ohio State a dominating 70-45 win over Minnesota.
After the game, Zed Key and Jamari Wheeler both made cases for E.J. Liddell being the national player of the year, while Holtmann broke down the victory.
