No Kyle Young Against Penn State, Zed Key a Game-Time Decision
The Buckeyes will be shorthanded to start the Big Ten Tournament as Kyle Young has been ruled out for Thursday night's game against Penn State as he continues through concussion protocol. Young has missed the past two games and most of a third after sustaining a concussion in Ohio State's loss to Nebraska.
Zed Key, who missed two of the past three games with an ankle injury, will also be a game-time decision for the Buckeyes. Key played seven minutes in Ohio State's regular season finale against Michigan, but was clearly still hobbled by the injury and left the game to go to the locker room at one point.
Iowa Scores Big Ten Tournament Record 112 points, Beats Northwestern
The Hawkeyes advanced in emphatic fashion, scoring a Big Ten Tournament record 112-points in a 112-76 win over Northwestern. Iowa became the first team in Big Ten Tournament history to score more than 100 points in a game.
Indiana overcomes 17-point second-half deficit, beats Michigan
The Hoosiers spoiled Juwan Howard's return on Thursday as Indiana overcame a 17-point deficit to beat Michigan 74-69 and advance to the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals. It was the largest postseason comeback in Indiana basketball history.
With the win, Indiana likely played itself into the NCAA Tournament while Michigan's resume took a step back. Now, the Wolverines are much closer to the bubble and could be headed for a First Four game or miss the tournament completely.
