It's not here just yet, but Buckeye basketball is quickly approaching as September draws to a close.
There's no better reminder of that fact than Ohio State media day, which allowed us to speak with every member of the revamped 2022-23 Buckeye roster during a 45-minute open interview window on Monday.
Sixth-year forward Justice Sueing, who missed all but two games last season due to injury, says he's "110%" since receiving full medical clearance at the beginning of the month. Chris Holtmann also revealed that Sueing will be a captain for the Buckeyes this season, although the others are still yet to be announced.
During a 30-minute press conference following the Buckeye players' availability, Holtmann said four freshmen "are going to play" for Ohio State this season, even if they have some "head-scratching" moments while they acclimate to the next level.
You can check out everything Holtmann said in the video above, and watch video interviews with 11 different Buckeye players from Ohio State media day.
