Ohio State has dropped consecutive contests for the first time all season, but Roddy Gayle thinks the Buckeyes will surprise people with their performance in the second half of the regular season.
"I think we have a chance to shock the world, honestly," the freshman guard said in an interview session at the Schottenstein Center. "People think we don't have enough strength to win out through late games, so that's a part in our game where we can change our total aspect."
Gayle also discussed his individual progression as he nears the halfway point of his first year of college basketball, and you can check out everything he said Tuesday in the video above.
Felix Okpara also spoke with media members outside of Ohio State's practice gym, and knows he has "big shoes to fill" as the Buckeyes' starting center while Zed Key works his way back from the shoulder injury he aggravated in last week's loss to Purdue.
