Brice Sensabaugh earned multiple all-conference honors on Tuesday.

The Buckeyes' breakout freshman forward was named third-team All-Big Ten on the media ballot after a regular season in which he led Ohio State with an average of 16.5 points per game. That mark was eighth-best in the conference and No. 1 among all Big Ten freshmen.

Despite earning Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors on four separate occasions this season, Sensabaugh did not win the conference's Freshman of the Year award. That honor went to Indiana guard Jalen Hood-Schifino. However, Sensabaugh was named to the All-Freshman team alongside Hood-Schifino, Michigan's Jett Howard, Wisconsin's Connor Essegian and Purdue's Braden Smith.

Sensabaugh, who scored at least 20 points in 11 different games during the regular season, was the lone Buckeye to make an All-Big Ten team. However, Zed Key – who played in 25 games before undergoing season-ending shoulder surgery – and sixth-year forward Justice Sueing were both honorable mention All-Big Ten selections.

Sensabaugh and the Buckeyes begin their Big Ten Tournament run as the No. 13 seed in Chicago on Wednesday, when they take on 12th seed Wisconsin at 6:30 p.m. at the United Center.
