Sunday’s celebration at Ohio Stadium won’t be the only on-campus recognition for Ohio State’s national champion football team to start next week.

The national champions will be honored during Ohio State men’s basketball against Iowa at the Schottenstein Center on Monday night.

Ohio State’s national championship, Cotton Bowl and Rose Bowl trophies will also be on display in the concourse during Monday night’s game, allowing Ohio State fans to take photos alongside the trophies. Ohio State safety Caleb Downs, cornerback Jermaine Mathews Jr. and linebacker Sonny Styles will all participate in an autograph session on the concourse before the game.

Monday’s game between the Buckeyes and Hawkeyes is scheduled for an 8 p.m. tip-off and will be televised on FS1. The game will also serve as Ohio State’s annual “Coaches vs. Cancer” game; Ohio State’s coaches will wear shoes that were designed by patients at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Ohio State men’s basketball is coming off a win over No. 11 Purdue on Tuesday and will bring an 11-8 overall record (3-5 in Big Ten play) in Monday night’s contest against Iowa, which is also 3-5 in Big Ten play with a 12-7 overall record.
