Ohio State has extended an offer to class of 2016 tight end Cary Angeline. The 6-foot-7, Exton, Pennsylvania prospect has offers from some of the top programs around the nation including, Michigan State, Penn State, Rutgers, and now Ohio State.
"They contacted my coach and told him that they really liked my film," Angeline told ElevenWarriors. "They wanted me to give them a call, so I did, and I spoke with Coach (Ed) Warriner. He and I talked for a little bit and he extended me an offer! He told me that he really wants me to come out to a game and check out how they use their tight ends."
Angeline was very excited about the offer and is very interested in what Ohio State has to offer. There consistency at the national level is one of the biggest reasons why he loves Ohio State.
"They are always one of the best teams in the country," Angeline said of why he is interested in Ohio State. "They are always sending players to the NFL. And of course coach (Urban) Meyer is one of the best coaches in the nation."
Angeline is hoping to make a visit to Columbus soon, while also visiting some of the other schools that have offered him. With all the recruiting going on around him, he is gearing up for the season, hoping to make a deep run into the playoffs with his team. He is wide open in his recruitment and is hoping to visit most of the schools that have offered him before making any sort of list.
