Welcome to The Hurry Up, which runs Sunday through Thursday, serving as your last stop for recruiting news and notes nightly. We'll recap the day as it happened and preview the days ahead while keeping our ear to the ground on the Ohio State recruiting scene.
DAQUON GREEN ADDS BUCKEYE OFFER
Ohio State's Tony Alford was in Tampa today and extended a new scholarship offer to 2017 wide receiver DaQuon Green, a wide receiver from Tampa Bay Tech.

The Ohio State offer is the 15th for the 6-foot-1, 185-pound Green, who was a high school teammate of 2015 five-star and Clemson signeee Deon Cain, thought by many to be the country's best 2015 wide receiver.
"(Cain) influenced me a lot," Green told Eleven Warriors. "He is always on the go, always willing to compete against anyone who lined up against him. He's like a brother to me and helped motivate me and gave me great advice on how to get the attention of coaches."
Clearly, it's worked. Green already has offers Georgia, Florida, Miami, Virginia Tech, Kentucky and others. He said the Ohio State offer caught him off-guard, but he's familiar with the Buckeyes.
"It feels good to get an offer from the national champs," he said. "It came out of the blue, kind of. I feel like they could be a perfect system for me. I'm supposed to go to the camp that they'll be at (in Florida) but I'm not sure when I can get up there for a school visit."
What will the Buckeyes see at that camp? Green has a very good handle on his still-developing game.
"I think my strengths are that I have good hands, and I know how to recognize defenses and scan for open holes," he said of his game. "I could get more consistent than I am right now, but I think the schools are seeing I could impact their programs and could be used in a lot of ways on offense. I'm super dedicated to what I do and am determined to give everything without regrets every play. I don't let anything stop me from working harder. No matter how many stars or offers you have there's always someone trying to work harder which motivates me to keep working to get better."
GLACKIN PLANS TO CAMP AT OHIO STATE
One of the country's faster-rising linebackers is Lebanon, Ohio-native and IMG Academy senior-to-be Jango Glackin. A recent offer from and visit to Wisconsin reportedly had the Badgers out front for the 6-foot-2, 215-pounder, but he's still got a busy summer planned and hopes to camp for Ohio State and Notre Dame in the first weeks of June.
The Irish are one of a handful of schools, including Miami and West Virginia, who've really increased the amount of attention being paid to Glackin. He had initially wanted to camp with the Buckeyes on June 19th, but may attempt to make an earlier session to not interfere with Brian Kelly's "Irish Invasion" on the 19th. An excellent student with a GPA over 4.0, Glackin is seriously considering Northwestern, Wisconsin and others, but an offer from Ohio State, Notre Dame or Oregon would be a script-flipper for the IMG linebacker.
JAYLEN HARRIS BLOWING UP, BUCKEYES NEXT?
Ohio's 2017 wide receiver crop could be one of the best in-state hauls in years and Cleveland Heights Jaylen Harris could be the best prospect in the group.
A 6-foot-5, 210-pounder, Harris has picked up offers from Michigan, Iowa, Kentucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia in the last month. He's also begun hearing more from Ohio State.
"I actually talked to Urban Meyer yesterday morning," Harris told 11W. "He was talking about how much he can't wait to see me at camp and to work with me."
Harris plans on camping with the Buckeyes on June 16th. He says he hopes that the Buckeyes make an offer.
"Every offer means a lot," Harris said. "Every offer is a blessing and means something to me, but picking up an offer from Ohio State would be something special."
BIG WEEK FOR 2016 WIDE RECEIVERS
Yesterday, Ohio State stopped in to check on their highest-priority 2017 wide receiver target, Fort Lauderdale's Trevon Grimes. The rest of this week it's the 2016 group that will get the love, with scheduled stops in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Detroit, Michigan and Tampa, Florida; the homes of Austin Mack, Donnie Corley, and Nate Craig-Myers, respectively.
For all the names floating around the wide receiver board in 2016, it's becoming clearer and clearer that this trio is the primary focus of the Ohio State coaching staff. Corley is still hoping to make a trip to Columbus next week, and Mack is 17 days from deciding on his college choice. From there, the Buckeyes can put their energy into really working on Craig-Myers, the country's top prospect at the position.
There are a handful of talented players still out there, guys like Ahmir Mitchell, Kyle Davis, Binjimen Victor and others, but Mack – followed by Corley or Craig-Myers – is the best case scenario for Ohio State.
