CLOSING ARGUMENTS
Late Sunday evening, Plano, Texas, East four-star linebacker Anthony Hines III revealed his top six schools and set a firm decision date.
The 6-foot-3, 222-pounder was previously set to announce his college intentions on Nov. 29, but will now decide between Florida, Ohio State, Penn State, Texas A&M, TCU and UCLA on Dec. 2 at noon.

Considered the second-ranked inside linebacker and the No. 88 prospect overall in the Class of 2017, Hines recorded 640 tackles, 27 sacks and 13 forced fumbles over the course of his varsity career. He holds more than 90 scholarship offers, but Texas A&M is considered the overwhelming favorite.
Hines officially visited Ohio State for the Nov. 5 game against Nebraska and made trips to Florida, Penn State, Texas A&M and UCLA this fall.
Hines will also reportedly take an unofficial visit to College Station on Thanksgiving night to see the Aggies play LSU, which will then be followed by an in-home visit by head coach Kevin Sumlin and the entire defensive coach staff over the weekend.
IN DUE TIME
Though he lives just a short drive away from campus and has been to several Ohio State games over the course of his life, Pickerington Central four-star tight end Trenton Gillison is looking forward to attending his first Michigan game this weekend.
“I'm really excited for being a part of that type of atmosphere,” Gillison told Eleven Warriors.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder is considered the 10th-best prospect in the state and the No. 9 tight end in the Class of 2018. He currently holds 14 offers from programs such as Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee and Wisconsin, but hopes to add an offer from Ohio State sooner rather than later.
“It would be great to have an offer from Ohio State, but it's always nice to be around [the staff] and know that they are still interested in me,” Gillison said.
An offer is the least of his concerns, though, as the Tigers are focused on a state semifinal matchup with Cincinnati St. Xavier on Friday night.
A ROAD I'VE TRAVELED MANY TIMES
A trio of underclassmen from Virginia Beach, Virginia, will be on campus this weekend Bishop Sullivan five-star linebacker Teradja Mitchell, Bayside wide receiver Armani Chatman and Kempsville cornerback Dasamir Spriggins.

The 6-foot-2, 225-pound Mitchell is considered the top-rated inside linebacker and the No. 28 prospect overall in the Class of 2018. He holds more than 30 offers from programs such as Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
His last trip to Columbus was in May 2015, and — knowing Hampton Roads well — he'll be tough to pull away from the Seminoles, Hokies or Hoos.
The 6-foot, 180-pound Chatman, meanwhile, is considered the 11th-best junior prospect in the commonwealth. He currently holds offers from North Carolina State, Rutgers and Virginia Tech, but has garnered interest from Illinois, Maryland, Ohio State and Penn State.

Spriggins, a 5-foot-10, 172-pound junior, is the least heralded of the three, holding only one offer from Charlotte. Both he and Chatman were at Ohio State's Oct. 22 loss to Penn State.
AND COUNTING...
With 270 yards on 36 carries in Friday night's 29-15 playoff win over Waterford, Canal Winchester Harvest Prep running back Daniel Bangura eclipsed 4,000 yards rushing on the season.
That's right, 4,061 yards.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound Bangura becomes the first player in Ohio High School Athletic Association history to rush for more than 4,000 yards, and his 56 total touchdowns also lead the nation.
"We are so excited for Dan, and the team is humbled as well. These young men work so hard and have done everything we have asked," Harvest Prep head coach Milan Smith told Eleven Warriors. "The national notoriety and exposure has been huge. This small program receiving national attention [is] simply amazing."
Harvest Prep will play Warren John F. Kennedy on Saturday in New Philadelphia with a berth in the state championship on the line. And while some may argue about the level of competition Harvest Prep faces in Division VII, Bangura rushed for 295 yards against Division II Franklin Heights and 160 against Division III Bexley.
"Teams have shown interest, but none like I'd expect," Smith said. "It's been weird. In my 20 years coaching from Division I to Division VII, he's one of the hardest working and humble kids I've ever coached. Not to mention, he has incredible football savvy and an unusual skill set [that's] very rare. Explosive, dynamic and quick."
