For the second time in as many days, an Ohio State freshman linebacker has lost his black stripe. This time it was Teradja Mitchell, a four-star linebacker from Virginia Beach Bishop Sullivan.

The 6-foot-2, 235-pound Mitchell becomes the third member of Ohio State's Supreme '18 recruiting class to lose his black stripe, joining defensive tackle Tommy Togiai and linebacker Dallas Gant, who shed his on Wednesday.
Unlike the other two, Mitchell did not enroll in classes until June. He's practiced just six times, which means he narrowly missed tying cornerback Kendall Sheffield's mark of just five spring practices in 2017.
Senior walk-on tight end Tate Duarte also had his stripe removed on Thursday.

The 6-foot-5, 248-pound Duarte — who played his high school ball at Poland Seminary — joined the team in the spring after he transferred from Ohio Dominican.
