Ohio State conquers Chicago with a 31-7 beatdown of Northwestern at Wrigley Field.
It’s only February, but it’s already becoming clear which weekend in June may be the biggest recruiting weekend from an Ohio State perspective.
Four-star cornerback Miles Lockhart and four-star defensive end KingJoseph Edwards have both confirmed to Eleven Warriors they plan on taking an official visit to OSU from June 16-18. Meanwhile, per On3, five-star safety KJ Bolden will also be making an official visit to campus that weekend, and 247Sports is reporting five-star cornerback Charles Lester III will also be in attendance. The visit will be Bolden’s fourth to OSU, as he visited last spring and the Notre Dame and Michigan games last fall.
“My cousin (Perry Eliano) is the safeties coach, so he stays on me,” Bolden told On3. “He’s been calling my mom. He just gave us a date and he was like, ‘I really hope that you come to this one.’ I think that’s when all the top recruits come, for that OV right there, so I’m gonna try to go to that one.”
Lockhart has visited OSU twice, once at a recruiting camp in June and another for the Michigan game.
“The game was a great experience even with the outcome I really enjoyed my time there,” Lockhart said after his visit. “The fans from both teams were loud, and up the whole game so you could feel that different type of energy. I got to talk with (Tim) Walton and he told me that they are obviously very disappointed right now, but they gotta move on and go on to the next.”
Edwards has visited OSU twice, which will make his official his third time on campus. The 6-foot-5, 242-pound edge rusher is one of OSU’s top targets at defensive end in the 2024 cycle. Lester visited OSU for the Buckeyes’ game against Wisconsin in September and put the Buckeyes in his top five on Jan. 1.
Dominick McKinley offered by the Buckeyes

Schools that have offered the 6-foot-5, 290-pound prospect include Alabama, Baylor, Colorado, Florida State, Houston, Miami, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and Tulane.
Ify Obidegwu puts Ohio State in top 7
An Ohio State cornerback target is narrowing down his recruitment. Four-star 2024 Maryland prospect Ify Obidegwu released a top-seven list on Monday which included Ohio State, Alabama, Maryland, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee and USC.

Obidegwu was offered by Perry Eliano on Dec. 12, and has since built a strong relationship with OSU. Per 247Sports, Obidegwu will visit OSU March 24-25.
“Definitely the DBs that came out of there,” he told 247Sports about what stands out about the Buckeyes. “The coaching staff as well.”
Kylan Fox includes OSU in top 15
Another Ohio State target in the 2024 class has narrowed down his recruitment, but less so than Obidegwu as four-star Georgia tight end Kylan Fox released a top-15 list over the weekend. The list consisted of Ohio State, Florida State, Colorado, Tennessee, Miami, South Carolina, Louisville, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Alabama, Florida, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Stanford and Cincinnati.

Fox visited OSU for the Rutgers game last fall and has since been high on the Buckeyes.
“The highlight of my visit was definitely seeing OSU tight ends be heavily involved,” Fox said after the game. “It shows that they are a huge impact in the offense.”
