Ohio State conquers Chicago with a 31-7 beatdown of Northwestern at Wrigley Field.
An Ohio State tight end target in the 2025 class is planning a two-day visit to Columbus this spring.
Georgia prospect Emaree Winston told Eleven Warriors this week he plans on making a trip to OSU on April 14 and will attend the Buckeyes’ spring game on the 15th. Winston visited OSU multiple times last year, most recently for the team’s regular-season finale against Michigan on Nov. 26.
“I loved the atmosphere,” Winston said in November. The fans were even into the game when they were down two scores. That’s what you need in a big-time game like the team up north game.”
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound prospect picked up his OSU offer in late June and holds offers from 20 Division I schools, most notably Auburn, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, NC State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin.
Brady Prieskorn includes Buckeyes in his top 8
Speaking of tight ends, one of OSU’s targets at that position for the 2024 class has narrowed down his recruitment. Four-star Michigan tight end Brady Prieskorn cut his school list down to eight on Monday, releasing a top eight of Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Penn State, Georgia and Miami.

“They produce pros and they have a great culture over there,” Prieskorn told On3 regarding his interest in Ohio State. “They know what they are doing.”
Prieskorn, considered the 59th-best prospect and third-ranked tight end in 2024 per 247Sports’ composite rankings, plans on making a commitment sometime this summer. The consensus in the recruiting industry is Michigan is a heavy favorite for Prieskorn, with two 247Sports Crystal Ball projections being cast in favor of the Wolverines. But OSU would like to take two tight ends in the 2024 class, so it remains to be seen if they make a late push for the Michigan product.
Hillman to take official visit to OSU
On Monday, we delved into Ohio State making a late offer in the class of 2023 to four-star safety Brandyn Hillman, who was released from his National Letter of Intent with Notre Dame on Sunday.
OSU will definitely be a strong contender for Hillman, as 247Sports reported Hillman plans to take an official visit to Columbus, most likely next week. Hillman has three official visits remaining, as the other two were to Notre Dame and Kentucky in the fall.
“I've never been to Ohio State, I'm planning to get up there soon (on an official visit), hopefully next week,” Hillman told 247Sports. “I like their tradition on and off the field. It's a great school, great program. I want to see it. I have three official visits left and I plan to take all three. The other two are up in the air.”
If OSU can land Hillman, he’ll be the 21st signee in 2023 and join a class that has brought in Malik Hartford, Jayden Bonsu and Cedrick Hawkins as safeties.
Harvey to commit in August
One of Ohio State’s defensive end targets in the 2024 class has set a decision timeframe. Four-star Maryland prospect Jaylen Harvey announced Tuesday he plans on committing in August before the start of his senior season.

Harvey, who was offered by OSU on Oct. 16, has already confirmed he’ll take a summer visit to Columbus on June 25. Other strong contenders for Harvey include Penn State, Notre Dame, USC, Florida State and more. He’s considered the 302nd-best prospect and 24th-ranked edge rusher in 2024.
