Ohio State and Michigan recruiting have both gotten off to fast starts in the 2024 cycle, especially on the offensive line.
The Buckeyes and Wolverines each have 12 commitments in their respective recruiting classes, with OSU ranked first and Michigan third in 247Sports' national recruiting rankings. Four of those 12 commits for each school are offensive linemen.
On Tuesday evening, On3's Hayes Fawcett raised a prompt pitting each school's offensive line commitments against each other, and it didn’t take long for members of both recruiting classes to start chiming in.
As of now, Michigan & Ohio State hold arguably the best OL classes, with 4 commitments each.

Which OL group are you taking?
Ohio State:
-4-Star IOL Ian Moore
-4-Star OT Deontae Armstrong
-4-Star OT Devontae Armstrong
-3-Star IOL Marc Nave
OR
Michigan:
-4-Star OT Andrew
As you might expect, both sides were very vocal toward their own allegiances, with Michigan commits Ben Roebuck, Luke Hamilton, Andrew Sprague and Blake Frazier each responding to the prompt.

Ian Moore was the only Ohio State offensive lineman commit to directly answer the question, but he didn't hold back on his response.
Cmon now. Hate to start beef but two of those dudes are salty that they didnt get OSU offers and the other two just didnt get them. Ive been to camps with everybody on that list except Marc (Marcs a dog though) and the Blake kid and I can tell you the Bucks are on top https://t.co/U4cwtWy081

Well I do and this most definitely checks out

Roebuck took exception to the comment and fired back.
Always comes down to not having that offer. Michigans got the better offensive line and better coaches. Seems like I wasnt missing out on much Go blue https://t.co/FwISSFoutN

From there, it didn't take long for either player to pull out receipts.

Ohio State running back commit James Peoples also chimed in and gave his future offensive linemen a vote of confidence.
Ill take my future O-line

Sorry lil biased @Devontae_440 @DeonArmstrong30 @marcnavejr @IanMoore2024
Moore also took the social media stir-up as an opportunity to reach out to targets that both Ohio State and Michigan are courting in the 2024 class, including running back Boo Carter and offensive tackle Brandon Baker.
got the best in ohio and indiana cant ask for anything better. maybe the best in the country @BrandonBaker73?

When the dust settled Wednesday morning, Moore used his platform to defend Justin Frye, who had come under fire from some Michigan fans.
Woke up this morning to a lot of poverty Frye comments on my tweet.

#1 Coach Frye is about to send 3 people to the league 2 in the first and the other is projected 2-3 and next year Donovan and Matt will probably be first rounders.
#2 Look at the picture. pic.twitter.com/lvUdmemJlc
Moral of this tweet is yall can make fun of me because Im in a position where Im loving your dream so I understand youre just upset. But dont be making fun of my coach because he is damn good at his job.

All of them are four-star recruits with the exception of Roebuck and Ohio State commit Marc Nave Jr., who are both three-star recruits.
