One of the top pass rushers in the transfer portal will no longer be visiting Ohio State this weekend.
Per On3's Pete Nakos, UTSA defensive end Trey Moore has switched his visit plans this weekend, opting to visit Alabama instead of Ohio State. Moore had taken an official visit to Texas last weekend, and the Longhorns have been viewed as the heavy favorite to land the coveted transfer target.
Nakos followed up the report with a clarification that OSU had called the visit off, not Moore.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Moore was third in the nation in sacks in the regular season after registering 14 sacks for the Roadrunners.
Ohio State will still have a busy recruiting weekend on hand with Cal transfer linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr and UCLA safety Kamari Ramsey heading to Columbus on official visits.
