Boggs is considered the 189th-best prospect and the 24th-rated wide receiver in the 2025 class per 247Sports' composite rankings. He committed to OSU on Oct. 9.
“Really, the Buckeyes have always had a soft spot in my heart ever since I got the offer,” Boggs told Eleven Warriors after he committed in October. “I feel like it was that time to get it done. Coach Ryan Day and coach Brian Hartline have been recruiting me really hard. Coach Hartline made it very clear that I was a top priority for them.”
With Boggs no longer in the fold, the Buckeyes no longer have any wideouts committed for the current cycle. That said, there are still plenty of quality targets available that Brian Hartline and OSU are in a good position with, including Jaime Ffrench, Kaliq Lockett, Dakorien Moore, Andrew Marsh, Daylan McCutcheon, Phillip Bell, Winston Watkins Jr., Talyn Taylor, Naeshaun Montgomery, Taz Williams Jr. and Edward Coleman.
