An Ohio State wide receiver target in the 2025 class has revealed a commitment date.
Four-star Utah prospect Jerome Myles revealed Monday he’ll commit on Oct. 30 and choose from a final five of Ohio State, Utah, Georgia, Texas A&M and USC.

Utah is the early favorite per many insiders in the recruiting industry for Myles’ commitment, but Ohio State isn’t out of the race yet. Myles plans to take an official visit to Columbus sometime this fall, though an exact date has yet to be determined. The relationship between the Buckeyes and Myles is relatively new, with Brian Hartline offering him on July 24.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Myles took official visits to Utah and Texas A&M this summer, and like OSU, Georgia and USC have only recently offered Myles within the last month. Per 247Sports, the Buckeyes would like to get Myles on campus for a night game before his commitment date, while he plans to attend a few Utah games since it’s a short trip for his family. No plans have been set for visits to Georgia or USC as of yet.
Per 247Sports’ composite rankings, Myles is considered the No. 45 prospect and the No. 7 wide receiver in the 2025 class. Myles already began his senior season last week and wasted no time making a big impression, catching four passes for 120 yards and a touchdown in Corner Canyon’s (Draper, Utah) 70-42 victory over American Fork.
Ohio State is also heavily pursuing four-star California wideout Phillip Bell, who plans to commit on Aug. 31, the day of the Buckeyes’ season opener. That recruiting battle is seen as a USC vs. OSU matchup, but OSU remains in good standing with Bell a few months away from his decision.
Five-star safety Bralan Womack puts the Buckeyes in top 10
The No. 3 safety in the 2026 class has narrowed down his recruitment. Five-star Mississippi safety Bralan Womack released a top 10 over the weekend consisting of Ohio State, Notre Dame, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Alabama, Nebraska, Tennessee, Louisville, Texas and LSU.

Womack made his first visit to Columbus in June for an Ohio State recruiting camp. He picked up an offer from the Buckeyes once he impressed Tim Walton and Matt Guerrieri in individual drills and one-on-one competition.
“It was a dream come true,” the five-star safety told Eleven Warriors after getting the offer. “It’s a dream offer and a dream school. I was very proud to get the offer. It just was an emotional moment. I’ve watched tons of games. All their College Football Playoff games since like 2017. I could tell you about a lot of it.”
Womack may be a top prospect from the deep south, but the safety has consistently maintained he’d have no qualms about coming to a northern school for college, as Ohio State and Notre Dame are two consistent contenders in Womack’s recruitment. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect has fall visits planned for Mississippi State, Alabama, LSU, Texas, Notre Dame and OSU. He’ll be in Columbus for the Buckeyes’ regular season finale against Michigan on Nov. 30.
Womack is ranked the No. 23 prospect and No. 3 safety in 2023.
Five-star WR Devin Carter dons OSU gloves in his season opener
The Buckeyes already have the top wide receiver in the 2026 class committed to them in Chris Henry Jr. But they’d have no qualms about adding another premier talent alongside him, such as five-star 2026 Georgia wideout Devin Carter.

Carter rocked Ohio State gear on Saturday for Douglas County’s (Douglasville, Georgia) 42-7 victory over Cedar Grove. He caught four passes for 43 yards in the win.
Carter was offered by OSU in January and has since been a priority target for Hartline.
