Justin Frye is taking advantage of Ohio State’s first off week of the season by handing out some new offers.
Two offensive linemen picked up offers from the Buckeyes on Wednesday, and we’ll break down each of them below.
Breck Kolojay
Ohio State offensive line coach Justin Frye extended an offer to IMG Academy product Breck Kolojay, a four-star offensive lineman from the 2026 recruiting class.

Per 247Sports’ composite rankings, Kolojay is considered the No. 244 ranked prospect and the No. 18 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 cycle. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound offensive lineman has picked up 30 Division I offers, including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Maxwell Hiller
Frye also offered 2027 standout Maxwell Hiller, a four-star prospect from Coatesville, Pennsylvania.

In 247Sports’ early top-100 list for the 2027 class, Hiller is the No. 20 prospect and the No. 3 offensive tackle. The 6-foot-5, 295-pound tackle has eight Division I offers in total including Maryland, Penn State, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, West Virginia and Kent State.
Hiller is the first offensive tackle Ohio State has offered in the 2027 recruiting cycle.
Anthony Davis includes Buckeyes in top 12
A top Ohio State linebacker target in the 2026 class has started to narrow down his recruitment. Four-star Georgia linebacker Anthony Davis released a top 12 on Wednesday consisting of Ohio State, Auburn, Oklahoma, Colorado, USC, Clemson, Penn State, Texas, Michigan, Tennessee and Oregon.

Davis visited OSU in June for a recruiting camp and enjoyed getting a chance to work out with James Laurinaitis. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound linebacker speaks weekly with Laurinaitis and has developed a close relationship with OSU’s linebackers coach.
“I learned a lot about hand placement and how to open up on breaks more,” Davis told Eleven Warriors after the camp. “It was really good working with coach Laurinaitis, his energy is always there. It was great to work out with him.”
Davis plans on visiting several of his top 12 schools this fall, including a scheduled trip to OSU on Nov. 30 for the Michigan game.
“Really the history around Ohio State,” Davis said in June of what he considers the most appealing thing about potentially playing for the Buckeyes. “There’s a lot of greats and a lot of Heisman winners that have come through there.”
Jerome Myles sets commitment date, leaves OSU off finalists
A wide receiver in the 2025 class with an Ohio State offer is heading in a different direction.
Four-star Utah product Jerome Myles announced Wednesday he’ll commit on Sept. 18 and choose from a final three consisting of Utah, Texas A&M and USC.

Myles originally had a commitment date for October, but has since moved that date up. OSU offered him on July 25 and was going to host him for an official visit sometime in October, but those plans never materialized.
The Buckeyes are happy with their wide receiver class to this point, which features Quincy Porter, Phillip Bell, De’zie Jones and Bodpegn Miller. That group may conclude OSU’s wide receiver recruiting for 2025, but if the Buckeyes took another wideout for the current cycle, it would likely be Preston Bowman if they could flip him from Kentucky.
