The Brown File
- Class: 2027
- Size: 5-11/160
- Pos: Wide Receiver
- School: Wayne (Huber Heights, Ohio)
- Composite Rating: ★★★★★
- Composite Rank: #6 (#2 WR)
Brown currently holds the No. 2 spot nationally among wide receivers and sits at No. 6 overall across all recruits in the 2027 class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. Such distinctions also make him the top football recruit in the state of Ohio for that cycle.
The 5-11, 160-pound prospect had also entertained offers from Maryland, Notre Dame, Penn State and Auburn. However, the in-state homegrown product could not pass up on an opportunity to play for the school he has supported since his childhood.
“It felt great, it was exciting,” Brown told Eleven Warriors when he received an offer in June. “It’s all I thought about since I woke up. Especially since I’ve been an Ohio State fan my whole life.”
Per MaxPreps, Brown runs a 4.31 40-yard dash and helped guide Wayne High School to the Division I, Region 2 regional finals in Ohio as a sophomore this past football season. He trains with receiver coach Dre Muhammad, who also worked with OSU freshman wide receiver Mylan Graham.
