One of Ohio State’s top safety targets in the 2026 class has set an official visit to Ohio State.

Five-star Mississippi prospect Bralan Womack announced the four schools he’ll take official visits to this summer on Wednesday, with the Buckeyes making the cut. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound safety will be in Columbus on June 20 and will also visit Florida, Auburn and Texas A&M this summer.

Womack has visited OSU multiple times over the past year, including last summer when he earned his offer from the Buckeyes and during the fall for a game visit.

“The way they develop and produce players to help them get to the NFL,” Womack told Eleven Warriors in June about what he likes the most about Ohio State. “But not only produce players, they keep them in the NFL. Marshon Lattimore, Denzel Ward, Jeff Okudah, Eli Apple, Malcolm Jenkins. Those are all guys playing like six-plus years, more than the average NFL career.”

Womack was the Mississippi Gatorade Player of The Year in his junior season and helped his team win a state championship following a campaign where he recorded 39 tackles and eight interceptions. On offense, he caught 54 passes for 1,045 yards and 13 touchdowns. Per 247Sports’ composite rankings, Womack is considered the No. 27 prospect and No. 2 safety in the 2026 class.

“My IQ and like Matt Guerrieri says, the fact that I can move so great when I’m 200 pounds and that I run around a 4.4 or 4.5 (40-yard dash),” Womack said of what makes him a standout player. “That’s what stood out to him. And that I can pick up coaching one day and put it to use the next day.”

CJ Givers picks up OSU offer

Ohio State has offered another running back in the 2026 class. Running backs coach Carlos Locklyn offered Georgia prospect CJ Givers on Monday, a few weeks after Locklyn visited Givers on the recruiting trail last month.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Givers doesn’t hold a 247Sports composite ranking as of yet, but he’s picked up 19 Division I offers, including Georgia Tech, Boston College, Duke, Indiana, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, NC State, Ole Miss, SMU, UCF, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Wisconsin.

Last year, Givers ran for 1,403 yards on 151 carries with 21 touchdowns. He added 13 catches for 182 yards through the air.

Carsyn Baker, Jonathan Hatton Jr. set official visits to Columbus

Speaking of running backs, two key targets at that position have also set official visit dates to Ohio State this summer.

Texas prospect Jonathan Hatton Jr.’s father told 247Sports this week the family will be in Columbus on June 6-8. He’ll also take an official visit to Oklahoma and will likely take others to Alabama and Tennessee. Locklyn visited Hatton in the January recruiting period and has made it a point to prioritize the top-65 prospect. Last season, he ran for 1,229 yards on 134 carries with 20 rushing touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Georgia prospect Carsyn Baker has set his official visit for June 13. The 6-foot, 195-pound Baker was the only running back Carlos Locklyn offered in the 2026 class last summer during the Buckeyes’ camp circuit. He had a nice junior season, running for 1,282 yards on 145 carries with 13 rushing touchdowns. He’ll also take an official visit to Texas A&M this summer.
