Between top schools lists and more official visits for 2026 Ohio State targets getting set, we’ve got a lot to get to today.

So let’s not waste any more time.

Savion Hiter puts Ohio State in his top four

The country’s top running back is down to four schools. Five-star Virginia prospect Savion Hiter released a top four of Ohio State, Georgia, Michigan and Tennessee and set official visits to each program. He’ll visit Columbus on May 30, Georgia on June 6, Michigan on June 13 and Tennessee on June 19.

Per 247Sports’ composite rankings, Hiter is the No. 17 prospect in the 2026 class and the No. 1 running back. As a junior, he ran for 1,698 yards on 156 carries and 26 touchdowns while adding 199 receiving yards. He’s visited Ohio State multiple times in his recruitment, including this past fall for a gameday trip.

Mack Sutter includes Buckeyes in top five

Keenan Bailey has proven in his Ohio State tenure he aims for two tight end recruiting classes. With Florida tight end Corbyn Fordham already in the fold, Bailey hopes to pull that feat off again in 2026. Four-star Illinois tight end Mack Sutter is one of the Buckeyes’ top remaining targets at the position and has narrowed his recruitment down to five schools: Illinois, Ohio State, Penn State, Ole Miss and Alabama.

He’ll take official visits to Illinois and Ole Miss and April, then visit Ohio State on May 30, Penn State on June 6 and Alabama on June 20. Sutter will likely make a decision shortly after he completes his official visits.

The 6-foot-5, 225-pound Sutter visited Ohio State several times in the past few months and is considered the No. 106 prospect and No. 6 tight end in the 2026 class. As a junior, he caught 35 passes for 505 yards with seven receiving touchdowns.

Cincere Johnson finalizes his OV to Ohio State

There’s no shortage of in-state talent at linebacker for James Laurinaitis to recruit from in the 2026 cycle. One of the most coveted Ohio prospects is Glenville product Cincere Johnson, who finalized his official visit schedule on Monday.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Johnson will visit Alabama on May 31, Oklahoma on June 6, Ohio State on June 13 and USC on June 20. Johnson, considered the No. 117 prospect and No. 9 linebacker in 2026, has been a frequent visitor to Ohio State and earned his offer earlier this fall. He could schedule other official visits as well, but as things stand, the Buckeyes and Crimson Tide both look like formidable contenders in his recruitment.

Kaden Gebhardt sets official visit to Columbus

A top Ohio State safety target has set three official visits for this summer. Three-star prospect Kaden Gebhardt will visit Clemson on May 30, Ohio State on June 6 and Penn State on June 12.

In his junior season, the 6-foot-2, 200-pound product racked up 76 tackles, five tackles for loss, two interceptions, four pass deflections and a fumble recovery.

Tyriq Green places Ohio State in his top eight

Finally, a 2026 Ohio State safety target has narrowed his recruitment down to eight schools. Four-star Georiga product Tyriq Green released a top eight consisting of Ohio State, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Tennessee and USC.

Green will likely take an official visit Columbus sometime this summer, though nothing has been finalized yet. He also could be at Ohio State for a spring practice. The 5-foot-10, 191-pound prospect will likely commit sometime this summer, and is also high on Florida, Miami, Tennessee and Georgia.
