Two key targets for Ohio State in the 2026 recruiting class have set up official visits to Columbus.
Four-star Texas offensive lineman Drew Evers announced he’ll visit OSU June 6-8. He also has visits planned to SMU, Penn State and Texas A&M. Evers was offered by the Buckeyes last summer and has had the Buckeyes high in his recruitment for quite some time.

“It was a surreal moment,” Evers said of his offer in June. “I was in coach Day's office, and then he kind of just like dropped the bomb on me. I wasn't really expecting it at all. I was expecting to just go in there and meet coach Day for the first time, but whenever he said (former Ohio State offensive line coach Justin) Frye thinks highly of you and we're gonna offer you right here, I was kind of like taken aback, because that doesn't happen every day. You don't get offered by Ohio State, and you don't get offered by Ryan Day. So it was an awesome moment for me and my family.”
New offensive line coach Tyler Bowen has made it a priority in his first few weeks on the job to reach out to Evers, and his work is already starting to pay dividends.
Meanwhile, five-star safety Blaine Bradford will be in town on June 13 and also plans to take an official visit to LSU this summer. Bradford is considered the No. 16 prospect nationally and the No. 1 safety in 2026 per 247Sports’ composite rankings, so there will be no shortage of competition for the 6-foot-1, 207-pound product. In addition to OSU, strong contenders for Bradford include LSU, Oregon and Notre Dame.
Evan Goodwin and Jorden Edmonds pick up offers from the Buckeyes
Ohio State has offered two more players on the recruiting trail.
On Monday, Bowen started casting a wider net on offensive linemen by offering four-star Arkansas prospect Evan Goodwin. The 6-foot-7, 325-pound Goodwin is ranked the No. 339 player and 29 tackle in 2026.

After a great call with @TylerBowen and @OhioStateFB I have been offered by the National Champs! @parkerwereb8 @ryandaytime#GoBucks#OLine #OffensiveLine pic.twitter.com/0R0UKeGady
He’s earned 22 Division I offers thus far, including Missouri, Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia Tech, LSU, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, TCU, Texas A&M and Wisconsin. Goodwin will likely take a visit to Columbus this spring to get to know the program better.
On Wednesday, Ohio State offered a top-100 prospect in the 2026 class as Tim Walton delivered the offer to four-star Georgia cornerback Jorden Edmonds. Edmonds is rated the No. 97 player and No. 10 cornerback in his recruiting class.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound prospect holds 40 Division I offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Mizzou, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and USC. In his junior year, Edmonds played both ways and recorded 30 tackles defensively while catching 32 passes for 648 yards and four touchdowns on offense.
Jackson Cantwell visiting Ohio State March 20
The top player in the 2026 cycle has set another visit to Ohio State. Five-star Missouri offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell announced he’ll take a trip to Columbus March 20-21 to attend spring practice and build a stronger relationship with Bowen.

Cantwell wasn’t familiar with Bowen before his hiring at OSU, but the Missouri prospect said he’s “excited to learn and excited to build a relationship” with the Buckeyes’ new offensive line coach.
Though Cantwell will be visiting OSU, it’s fair to call the field over the Buckeyes the frontrunner for the standout tackle. He put out a final six earlier this month consisting of OSU, Missouri, Georgia, Oregon, Miami and Michigan. But the visit will be an opportunity for the Buckeyes to gain momentum with the No. 1 overall prospect.
Chris Henry Jr. sets official visit schedule
Though five-star 2026 wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. is still firmly committed to Ohio State, the top wideout prospect in the current cycle will continue to take other visits to schools this summer. Henry set official visits to Miami on May 30, USC on June 6, Oregon on June 13 and of course Ohio State on June 20.
