Last week, Kenny Guiton earned an invite to the Buffalo Bills' rookie mini-camp on a try-out basis. The Smooth Sensation, a career Ohio State backup but a legend nonetheless, was one of four try-out players competing for a spot on the Bills' 90-man roster.

Today, the Bills announced they were filling the open slot with former East Central University wideout, Caleb Holley.

According to ESPN's Mike Rodak, Guiton struggled with "accuracy and consistency" at the Bills' camp. There's even speculation the Bills never intended to sign Guiton, but simply needed a quarterback for their minicamp.

It's unclear where this leaves Guiton's NFL dreams, as his agent admitted before the Bills' invite calls from NFL teams were "minimal." There's always the Canadian Football League... but this could also clear the way for Guiton's eventual return to Columbus as a graduate assistant.
