The most recent poll from the AP looks a lot more reasonable than the Coaches Poll, but to be honest it's still pretty stupid. We will never, ever get rid of preseason polls or early ones that have next to no relevance or accuracy because we crave some kind justification for our biases and pre-conceived notions, but man I really wish that we could get rid of these things until like October.
