Kirk Herbstreit evolved from an Ohio State quarterback to a media personality paid for his opinions. Because college football fans hate people with opinions that don't align with theirs, Herbstreit draws a lot of hate from all walks of life, up to and including Buckeye fans.
But Herbstreit, who does rank Ohio State in the country's top four, is done reading his Twitter mentions because you people just won't leave the man alone:

Personally, I don't know why Herbstreit fires up so many people (especially around Columbus). He is literally just some guy, who happened to play quarterback, who now does media and has opinions. He is not the best commentator, but he is far from the worst.
