Ohio State was down 21-6 to Alabama early in the first half. All hope seemed lost, especially for college football fans eager to dismiss Ohio State as a playoff team and look ahead to an Alabama-Oregon national championship game. Ohio State subsequently rallied to win the game.
If that seemed like an epic comeback, it was. It was Ohio State's largest comeback since 1989, the infamous 31-point rally in the Metrodome.
