Here's some good news for Ohio State: junior defensive tackle Adolphus Washington is coming back for his senior season, according to ESPN.com's Joe Schad. Washington made the announcement during a media day interview at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Buckeyes are set to return seven starters to a defense that has made a marked improvement in 2014. Washington will join Joshua Perry and Armani Reeves as senior starters for the Silver Bullets in 2015, which will also return standouts Vonn Bell, Darron Lee and Eli Apple.
Washington was not seen as a significant flight risk for the NFL Draft. Nevertheless, it will certainly be good to have him on the same line with Joey Bosa next season. In 2014, Washington has 45 tackles and 3.5 sacks on the interior of the defensive line.
