If their performance in the National Championship Game didn't sell enough jerseys, Ohio State is doing its part to ensure people will buy more.
Like 1968, 1993, and against Oregon, the Buckeyes will sport scarlet jerseys with black shoulder numbers today. The playoff uniforms also feature the classic grey, black and white sleeve stripe, a staple of Buckeye threads since the Woody Hayes era.
The jerseys coincide with the 2014 National Champions banner unveiling, which will take place during the game against Hawai'i. These alternate, playoff jerseys replace the previous "rivalry" set, which were prominent in primetime games and against Michigan.
