Ohio State's Raekwon McMillan was named one of five finalists Monday for the 2015 Butkus Award, which is given annually to the top linebacker in college football,
McMillan is joined by Georgia's Leonard Floyd, LSU's Deion Jones, Alabama's Reggie Ragland and Notre Dame's Jaylon Smith as finalists for the award.
McMillan — a sophomore from Hinesville, Georgia — is the man in the middle for the Buckeyes' defense and the team's leading tackler with 105 total stops on the year. McMillan also has four tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks as the leader of a defense which ranks eighth nationally, allowing just 298 yards per game.
Ohio State travels to Michigan noon Saturday.
