The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Evan Spencer in Week 3 after Washington reached an injury settlement with the former Ohio State standout during its final roster cuts.
Spencer, always known for his grind at Ohio State, cut his teeth on the 6-8 team's practice squad, and now he earned his shot.
According to buccaneers.com, the Buccaneers activated Spencer on Tuesday afternoon. He replaces released linebacker Orie Lemon, a sixth-year player out of Oklahoma State. If Spencer plays, he'll likely start on special teams.
