Braxton Miller has a new website – bmiller92.com – and the Ohio State legend is using it to sell shirts as he transitions from college star to NFL player.
Miller is currently featuring two designs: a “Charging One-Way” tee featuring a battery and a shirt commemorating his spin move in primetime against Virginia Tech. You remember that play, don't you?
Selling t-shirts and apparel is a recent phenomenon for departing Ohio State football players. Running back Ezekiel Elliott, expected to be a first round selection in the draft, has shopzeke.com, selling t-shirts and sweatshirts with his stylized initials, “RUN EZE” and other items.
While the revenue these players earn from selling apparel will surely pale next to what they'll earn from NFL contracts, it never hurts to get your feet wet on the business side early in your professional career.
