Like most spring football games, there were some ups and downs in Ohio Stadium today but in front of a spring game record crowd of 100,189 fans, the Gray squad, led by Joe Burrow's two touchdown passes and Torrance Gibson's two scores, knocked of the JT Barrett led Scarlet team 28-17.
Despite taking some big hits early in the game, Burrow remained composed and completed on 66-percent of his pass attempts. Gibson had three catches and was a primary target on the afternoon.
For the Scarlet, it was tight end Marcus Baugh who led the way, catching seven balls for 64 yards to pace JT Barrett's offense.
