Ohio State blows out Indiana, 38-15. Now, it's time to do the same to That Team Up North.
Ohio State fans won't have to wait long to see the latest version of the Buckeye football team once the first college football Saturday of the 2016 season finally rolls around.
The Buckeyes are set to host the Bowling Green Falcons at noon Sept. 3 in Ohio Stadium on Big Ten Network, according to a press release from the television station Monday.
The matchup is the lone one set for broadcast on Big Ten Network on Ohio State's 2016 schedule as of Monday. The Buckeyes are not slated to play on the network in primetime for the second-straight season, but already have five games scheduled for under the lights this fall on other networks.
Urban Meyer began his head coaching career at Bowling Green, going 17-6 in two seasons from 2001-02 before leaving for Utah.
The Falcons finished 10-4 in 2015 and won the MAC, but lost their head coach and a slew of offensive playmakers from that team. You can read more about them here.
Ohio State is 4-0 against Bowling Green all-time, including a 35-7 victory over the Falcons in 2006.
