The Carolina Panthers, the reigning NFC champions, were bad to start the year as they stumbled to a 1-5 record. In the last four weeks, however, it switched.
The Panthers are winners in three of their last four contests, the latest coming Thursday night in Charlotte, 23-20, against the NFC South rival New Orleans Saints.
Former Ohio State wide receiver Ted Ginn finished with three receptions for 46 yards (and one rush for 13).
Forty of those receiving yards came on a single play that can be viewed in the video above, when Panther QB Cam Newton found Ginn in the end zone with 17 seconds left in the half. The play was so spectacular refs initially ruled it incomplete before replay overturned it.
Touchdowns before the half always deflate a defense, but especially so when that defense thinks the scoring receiver is incapable of catching the football.
Here's Saints defensive lineman Cam Jordan:
Cam Jordan said the Saints defense felt "some type of way" after long Ted Ginn TD at end of 1st half: "Clearly, we know Ted can't catch."

This is why it's never wise to doubt Ted Ginn, folks.
After the game, Ginn spoke with the NFL Network while wearing an Ohio State shirt. He talked about his big catch as well as the "Buckeye Brotherhood" in regards to Ezekiel Elliott leading the league:
