San Diego Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa and Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, former Ohio State roommates, were the No. 3 and No. 4 picks of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Since then, both rampaged through the NFL—albeit with Bosa's season shorted by his own team's petty negotiating.
Elliott leads the league in rushing. Bosa is on pace to pressure the opposing quarterback more times in his first 10 games than anyone in the past decade.
But before that, they were merely former four-star recruits coming off their first college season in Columbus.
Bosa finished that 2013 season with 42 tackles and 7.5 sacks. Elliott rushed the ball 30 times for 262 yards (and almost decapitated a Purdue kick returner).
For their efforts, the duo earned their first of three letters at Ohio State. Elliott's mom, Dawn, posted a photo of the pair Thursday on Twitter:
