The Miami Dolphins selected former Ohio State middle linebacker Raekwon McMillan (not to be confused with former Ohio State cornerback Marshon Lattimore) with the 54th overall pick in the second of last week's NFL Draft.
Friday, the former Buckeye captain signed a four-year rookie deal with his new team projected to be worth $4.7 million, according to Sport Trac. The deal comes with a projected $1.55 million signing bonus.

McMillan joins Curtis Samuel, who signed a $6.4 million contract with the Carolina Panthers earlier this week, as the first two Buckeye draftees to sign professional contract.
The Dolphins begin their 2017 campaign on Sept. 10, when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
