On December 13th, Ohio State wide receiver Torrance Gibson signed a National Letter of Intent with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, months after being suspended by the university for the entire autumn semester due to a violation of the student code of conduct.
While that seemed to spell the end of Gibson's days in Columbus, the story wasn't necessarily over as the letter of intent was binding to the school not to the student athlete. Gibson was not required to attend Mississippi Gulf Coast, but his spot was secured if he chose to do so.
Saturday, Gibson Tweeted plans to return to Ohio on Monday. While this doesn't necessarily mean he will be back on the team or even back at Ohio State, it would appear Gibson will not be attending Mississippi Gulf Coast, as its classes begin on Monday.
It seems the Torrance Gibson saga is not quite over.
