Former Ohio State wide receiver Corey "Philly" Brown is moving on from the Carolina Panthers, the franchise that signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2014.
The Buffalo Bills announced an agreement with the 25-year-old Brown on Sunday afternoon after the Panthers failed to tender a qualifying offer.
Brown appeared in all 16 games with the Panthers in 2016, an unaccomplished feat in his first two seasons. However, he failed to match the production of his 2015 campaign and finished with 27 receptions for 276 yards and a touchdown, down from 31 receptions for 447 yards and four touchdowns in 2015.
Specific terms weren't announced and will be added to this piece when they become public.
This is the second former OSU wide receiver to walk away from Carolina during this offseason cycle. Ted Ginn signed with the NFC South rival New Orleans Saints last Thursday.
