If you're planning a trip to Ann Arbor for Meyer-Harbaugh III, it will cost you anywhere between $125 and $155 for a single ticket — if you buy through the University of Michigan.
The Wolverines host Ohio State on Nov. 25 and announced on Wednesday afternoon the prices for their six home football games for the 2017 season. Below are the ticket options, as described per a release on mgoblue.com:
TICKET TYPE | END ZONE | MAIZE/BLUE | VICTORS/VALIANT |
---|---|---|---|
OHIO STATE at MICHIGAN | $125 | $140 | $155 |
Michigan also hosts in-state foe Michigan State on Oct. 7. The ticket prices for that game are identical to the ones for Ohio State, according to the press release.
The release says Michigan single-game tickets go on sale in mid-July after all season ticket and ticket pack orders are completed. Ohio State does not offer tickets to away games during its single-game ticket sale, a spokesman said.
Tom Knox of Columbus Business First reported in October the proposed ticket prices for Ohio State's seven home games for the 2017 season. They are as follows:
DATE | OPPONENT | PRICE |
---|---|---|
9/9 | OKLAHOMA | $190 |
9/16 | ARMY | $70 |
9/23 | UNLV | $65 |
10/7 | MARYLAND | $80 |
10/28 | PENN STATE | $140 |
11/11 | MICHIGAN STATE | $190 |
11/18 | ILLINOIS | $80 |
Ohio State has not released information on when its tickets go on sale or the prices for its home games. It did so at the end of June last year, with tickets going on sale on July 11. A program spokesman told Eleven Warriors that a similar timeline is expected for confirmation on the proposed prices for this season.
