Urban Meyer has only lost six games since arriving in Columbus before the 2012. Unfortunately that sixth loss came at the hands Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl back in January.

Meyer and his team are back on the trail, though. While speaking to a class as part of Ohio State's sports coaching major, Meyer talked about his philosophy in dealing with a loss.

Just because you lose or fail doesn't make you a loser. It doesn't make a failure. If you accept it, then you start bordering on the fact you're a failure. Or you're a loser. I always like to say, when we lose a game, it's not because we lost a game; it's because we ran out of time.

And we don't lose many around here. But when you do, that does not make you a loser. When you fail in a drill—athletics are so competitive, especially at this level, that you are going to face some very good teams. You are going to lose.

All that means is we're going to work the next day.

Spoken like  man with 15 years of head coaching under his belt.
