It's only spring, but it's never too early for Carmen Ohio.
The football team accumulated in the South end zone to sing Carmen Ohio to the fans still in attendance, mimicking the tradition the program has done continuously since Jim Tressel first arrived in Columbus in 2001. Urban Meyer has continued it since he arrived in 2012.
Scarlet's 38-31 win over Gray is the first occasion Ohio State fans get to see the team sing Carmen Ohio in Ohio Stadium in 2017. The next occasion? Oklahoma on Sept. 9.
