ESPN's famed tailgate show, College GameDay, is broadcasting from the Oval this morning ahead of tonight's primetime top-five tilt between Ohio State and Oklahoma.
Ohio State head coach appeared on set at the top of the 10 o'clock hour. In an ominous omen for the Sooners, Meyer was in high spirits.
Meyer talked the win over Indiana (credit to Hoosiers QB Richard Lagow), J.K. Dobbins, and Baker Mayfield.
When asked by Kirk Herbstreit what sets Ohio State apart, Meyer credited growing up two hours away and knowing the school "inside and out." As a historian of Ohio State, he still gets intimidated by running into former Heisman winner Eddie George.
Meyer also said special teams will play a crucial role. They can win the game if "they can keep those guys pinned down there."
