The Colts selected Malik Hooker with the No. 15 overall selection in the 2017 NFL Draft. A hamstring injuriy forced Hooker to miss some time over the summer. Earlier this week it was announced that the former Ohio State safety would be making his first start this weekend against Arizona.
It didn't take long for the former All-American to make his presence felt.
First career start. First career interception.

Hooker is up to his usual ball-hawking ways, and Carson Palmer fell victim Sunday afternoon. He recorded seven interceptions as a redshirt sophomore in 2016. Hooker also scored three touchdowns for the Buckeyes.
This will surely be the first of many for the Colts' safety.
